Before anything else John McDonald is a husband, father, and brother in Christ. Driven by a love for Jesus that proves itself through passionately and diligently studying the Word of God and learning the depths of faith and knowledge of the Holy One.

A specific area of study that John excels in, is teaching about and tearing down strongholds in the form of misinterpreted scripture, false and misleading beliefs and religious practices. Unless the scripture states otherwise in the text, a literal understanding and interpretation has allowed John with the empowering of The Spirit of God to open many eyes. John stewards his teaching gift well and has been and continues to be refined in his roll as pastor and elder, whose greatest desire is to make much of Jesus.

He has served the body of Christ for over 20 years and finds joy in discipling men and teaching them to observe all that Jesus has commanded us. His reward and catalyst to continue counseling and discipleship is watching people’s lives, marriages, and families be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

John holds a B.A. in Biblical Counseling and an M.A. in Theology from Calvary Chapel University. His zeal for the Lord continues to fuel his desire to teach both the unknowing and spiritually mislead, about eternal life by entering into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
